Almost 3 year old bicolor female, new pictures taken today. Would love to know your opinions of this girl, shes shedding, so her coat appears a little "wavy" in the photos!

She is the kind I like .. the grass is making her look shorter than she is .. better on stones or bricks like the Europeans do it. Is she Czech??

She is DDR/Czech

The ears don't look right to me. Or the angle of the neck. Standing in tall grass is a horrible way to ask for a critique. Condition looks a bit flabby.

Thank you Bubba and Sitasmom.
Beetree: What exactly don't you like about her ears and the angle of her neck?? Could you please describe to me what you would rather see??
I think that her coat is deceiving you about her being "flabby". This girl never holds still, always on the move. She gets a lot of exercise, has a nice tuck and is very well-muscled.

I think in a horse, they would call it an "ewe" neck, meaning a bit more upright than ideal. The space between the ears looks more... cattle dog to me, I am not meaning to me mean. I do agree, black or any darker solid color is hard to photograph with true definition. So, you are totally right about that! It is just if you are asking for a critique, you want to make sure you give the best photo to get the BEST critiques.
Not at all trying to pick apart your dog.

Beetree, its fine, I'm not offended or anything, just curious as to what exactly you were seeing that you didn't like.

Looks like a Czech German Shepherd to me .. my vet thinks my 4 month old Czech puppies are black bear cubs. Just have to know what you are looking at. Take a look at some of the GSD from the Netherlands and they have a distinct look as well. If you wanted a West German GSD you could have bought one.
