Very touching story about a GSD who is thought to have killed his handler. Showline male, very expressive. I'm getting misty eyed watching this....

Please tell me it had a good ending and the dog lived happily ever after!

Yes, it is a great ending, Nick ends up keeping the dog and we see it throughout the season.

If you were watching "CSI Las Vegas"-GS's K9 handler was killed-killer was found by dog, story ended with the dog to retire with one of the CSI agent-can't remember the character's name at the moment.

There's also been an episode on "Bones" were GS was trained to kill on command that the Doc fell in love with-did not have a happy ending.

It was a good ending, with lots of understanding of the character of our GSDs. The dog gets loose & is found laying by its handler in the morgue, gets shot but finishes taking down the bad guy, & of course, is saved by the vet & adopted by the shows hero.
In one scene, they pictured police dogs being trained, doing sleeve work, which was fairly accurate. They tell the protagonist to speak the dogs language to control him, but they used French instead of German commands. I guess they didn't want to broadcast German commands to the public, or were they French ring dogs? LOL!  jackie harris
