I read your post regarding the problem you're having with the Czech dog....that's too bad, sorry to hear he's got some problems. Hopefully it is nothing serious. Once he's been given a diagnosis from a vet that there aren't any medical issues that are prompting his symptoms it won't be difficult to put on some weight for him. I wouldn't suggest trying different dog foods or adding ground meat ect. to his diet until you figure out why there is blood involved in the stool. This is where I would be most concerned. I've never heard of Pies Toro or this Mike Morgan....can I ask where you got him or how you acquired this dog?? I have a Czech dog also that I had brought over in Oct. The skiddish part you described...is it really that he's skiddish or could it be perhaps everything is new to him and he has not acclimated to the new environment?? Our dog was a bit confussed and not so much skiddish but cautious of everything because it was all new. He was still friendly with my kids but we used common sense that a.this is an older new dog who doesn't know us or our surroundings and b. everything here is different to him, from the food, sounds, people, climate. It all can play a part on his demeanor. IF he is skiddish and is not stable in the head this can be a problem for you down the road. Today he may seem fine with your 5 year old but how will he be with someone elses or anyone else that enters your home or approaches him. If you don't know much about the person you got him from I'd have someone who is experienced in training these dogs evaluate him just for your own peace of mind. But your first priority is to get him healthy. Just curious why you bought a dog in this condition?? Also, someone who can help you perhaps track down his back ground or translate his pedigree would be someone who obviously deals with breeding the Czech dogs- many of them can translate it. Maybe contact someone over there who is a broker that may be able to help you. Good Luck
