Hey, we allowed him to become a naturalized citizen last year, so he should have the same rights as any other US citizen. That said, if I, as a natural-born US citizen, commit treason against this country, my rights have been seriously abridged by the @#$*@$& "Patriot Act"--so this fellow's not going to fare any better as a citizen than he will as an enemy combatant.

He gets an hour without Miranda rights is what I heard. Then he gets his lawyer.
What is really cool to watch is that night vision, infra-red footage of him being taken from that boat. People are raising money for a new boat for the poor guy whose precious boat is now full of holes.

MA does not have a death penalty....so hopefully they charge him with federal crimes as a terrorist....

If he is a U.S. citizen, is is absolutely crucial that he is tried as such. The last thing we need is precedent whereby habeas corpus is denied to any citizen, by anyone, for any reason. If Washington wants to argue that "the world has changed", then maybe they should take a long look at who we extend citizenship to, and start enforcing immigration laws.

Enemy combatant is a word used to cover up a lie.
I don't think looking at bloody pictures would actually bother him.
I don't think this is what I'd call treason, but your right hexe about the lie known as the Patriot Act.

I'm pretty certain he will be charged with federal crimes and will be in a federal facility should he survive.
