R.I.P. Andy Maly Vah (12, July 2000-17, April 2013) - Page 1

Very sadly for his owner, Melanie (GSDFan1), and those who knew him, Andy Maly Vah passed away this past Wednesday.
Andy was almost 13 years old.
I know there are many people who read and post on this web site, and some who just read it, who were able to watch as Melanie and Andy traveled down their path together towards earning just about every type of title a dog/handler team could earn. For those of you who are a little newer to this web site, take some time to look at the links I have provided below. You will be able to read and see in pictures what a German Shepherd and its handler should be.
In so many ways Andy has made Melanie what she is today. Like an angel sent from heaven, Andy helped Melanie find what her real happiness in life is.
That is something most people can only hope for in a life time with dogs. If only there were more dogs like Andy!
I am very proud to say that I own a very athletic, handsome, nearly 5 year old son of Andy's. 
He bites as hard as any dog I've been around. When seriously pushed he releases a fury of hell, but, his temperament is 100% sound.
I have had six women tell me if my Andy son was a human they would marry him.
Quite a legacy, Andy! Thank you!
My heartfelt sympathy to you, Melanie, during this very difficult time! We're all here for you!
Run free and be at peace, Andy! You were one of a kind, a true ambassador in every way for the German Shepherd Dog breed!

RIP Andy!  Melanie, I'm very sorry for your loss.  He was a very very lucky dog to have had you as an owner; you were equally as lucky to have him as your friend.

The breed has lost one of the great ones. I know Melanie is broken hearted.

Awwww. I'm so sorry Melanie. Andy was your lifetime heart dog and a fun dog to watch on the field and off.
