Many here remember how I AlpineK9 was dragged here and on other forums through mud by this person. Well Here is an update:

Animal control of Waupaca Co WI contacted me regarding this case County of Waupaca vs. Eva S. Berg
Waupaca County Case Number 2013CV000134
It appears that large number of dogs of Sonia Berg were in such a bad shape that they were confiscated by animal control.

Dont know Hans, I am not debating what happened between you and her. But it looks like the evidence is based on 1 photo?
There are good and bad things you hear about AC confiscating animals, some rightful, some shady.

I thought it said there were witness' statements, including a veterinarian- not sure if it was her vet or the vet treating the dogs since they've been confiscated.
As the lucky recipient of many of her looney emails, I have to say I'm glad whatever innocent animals were living with her have been taken. The woman is not right in the head and Munchausen By Proxy always comes to mind when I read her writings.

@Elkoor Normally I may agree, but to say that "the decision had been based on evidence of one photo" is inaccurate since the court record clearly states ; Court will take testimony regarding 173.23 3:17 p.m.-Jeanette Newell: Sworn and Testified Exhibit #1 - Marked (Photo) 3:39 p.m. - Testimony of Jeanette Newell complete 3:40 p.m. - Dr. Peter Gasper: Sworn and Testified 4:11 p.m. - Testimony of Dr. Peter Gasper complete.
Thus 1 vet and one animal control officer sworn statements.
I was informed that condition of dog Lupo which I sold to Sonia, was rated as 2 on scale from 1-10 where 1 is the worst and 10 is best.
I was asked if I want the dog back even if neutered and I said I prefer for him not to be neutered, but I said that I will take him back in any case if not adopted locally. I offered to pay the shipping.
I am posting this here for 2 reasons:
1. Warn people about this individual.
2. Help in adoption of these dogs ( more then 20) which I was informed will not be returned to Sonia Berg.

I remember this nutcase and the story:( I'm glad they've caught up with her but sad for the dogs:( I hope they will all eventually be ok. Gee wonder what ms berg has to say now?

hey, I have not even heard of this until now. I am about an hour from there and will help if needed. Can't keep a dog for long, but will certainly go get to start a transport. I have any reference you might want to contact. even to just meet Jenni part way or something.

Wow...she managed to accumulate 20 dogs? Sad. Very, very sad. If Lupo is indeed at a body condition score of 2/10, there's a serious possibility he might not survive despite medical intervention...it's not easy to bring them back when they are so close to the edge of that cliff. 
I do hope they are able to rehabilitate all of the dogs and they are placed in homes where they will receive proper care. I got the same vibe from her as you did, Jenni-, when reading her screeds-- Munchausen by proxy, with canine victims.

Is their any way to let WDA/GSDCA/USA know of this woman, and the crimes that she just did so they can write a warning article in their monthly news magazines? If shes a member of either club her membership should be revoked and liquidated.
