Hip xray is not the best positioning, legs are not parallel and the knees are not rotated inwardly, but I still think the hips look excellent. Should get an A1 from the SV, prelim excellent from OFA. Elbows - I don't know how to read them.

Elbows are normal as are hips in my view.

I'm guessing OFA FAIR, I've seen better looking hips get that rating recently.

I agree not the best positioning on the hip x-ray. Also picture is taken at an angle so the hips look smaller and harder to read. But both look seated nicely, pretty good coverage. I agree with CMills that lately they've been sticklers. I'm going to say OFA Good, Fair at the least. But they look good. Elbows look normal.

Blitzen, the only reason I say Fair to good is because there's been a lot of them coming back fair that look like this. I'm guessing it'll be good, but could be fair depending on how they feel

Give the vet a copy of the OFA pdf that shows how hips are supposed to be positioned, and have them done again - and see if he will do it for free......

Agree, I've recently sent in 2 young males xrays, BOTH looked almost identical to these, and both came back Fair. So only going by my personal experience. Please post your results when you get them back, so we can all learn.
