Happy Birthday, Beautiful (ok, I might be biased...) - Page 1

Capri turned 6 on the 26th. We went to the park. Naturally, she's in heat and totally bald so pics are not so great, but oh well. Light was all wrong, too, since we waited too long to head out. Regardless, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PRI!

Ahhhhhh there is my pretty girl!!! God I love that dog, really wish I would've brought my camera when I came out. (because the one I took of her with my phone just doesn't do her justice, LOL!)

Hey, none of those do her justice, either, as you know. 

I'm picky about pics...I couldn't get a good shot that day to save my life. Everywhere I turned, there was something hideous in the background or she was a silhouette. And she's bald.

that last one....  a boy and his dog and he is carrying the stick...  might make you cry some day.  They are all good pics.

I think you did good... I really like that one of her and James lying down. That is an excellent picture of the two of them! No one is going to mess with him with her there!

Darcy, that is cute, isn't it? I like the really slack leash, she's just moseying along...not her usual speed, lol. I like the contrast between her demeanor with him and with other people. She's by no means that gentle across the board. More of a bull in a china shop....lol.

She has always felt he was her baby. I have to warn friends- he is the only thing that they're going to touch that would cause her to bite unexpectedly (well, unexpected to them...lol). She is very protective of him, not just with strangers, but also with unsafe situations...and little boys are really good at finding those. 

I didn't expect a big thread with a lot of comments, so don't feel like you have to post because no one else is, lol. I know she's not a big deal to everyone like she is to me, and I just wanted to post her bday pics, just because. I thank those who commented, though.

its funny but i remember the picture of your boy wrapped up against (was that Caleb?) and i though holly crap that the biggest GSD i ever seen....made a huge impression on me...doesnt seem like it was that long ago but looking at your boy now, i cant believe how big he is already...

Yeah, that was Caleb. James was also 2 months premature...so a combo of big dog and small baby.

He'll be 4 in August- TIME FLIES!!!
