how obedient are SCHH3 GSDs i mean would he chase a cat or a mouse even tho told to stay

by kyto on 29 March 2013 - 05:03

all depends on how much/how good trainning they had if they only had trainning to get certain(show) titles and not for entering schhcompetitions after they got schh3 i wouldn't bet on him being very obedient, having an obedient dog doesn't stop at a certain day, you need to keep working on that there intire life

if you train correctly and enough yes, if you only train once a month don't expect him to be the most obedient dog everything depends on your effort but why use him as a stud if someone else wants to sell him?
why is he up for sale?what has he already produced? is he hip/elbow but especially these days free of 8th vertebra?
in my opinion if you have a great stud dog you don't sell him, females ok when you have a good daughter you can sell but good studs who really pass on their quallity's people don't sell exept if the price is skyhigh
so you would be better off  paying maybe 20x studfee in the past there could be the issue of long distance but these day's frozen semen is so common from my idefix(mali) there's always frozen semen availeble and even frech chilled semen can be transported so why still spen 10.000-20.000 euro/dollar on a studdog if the usable part is availeble for far less money
if you wanna use him for your own breeding i think it's a waste of money to pay for all those titles if the outcome isn't the dreamresult that maybe would be worth the money buying females for breeding makes a whole lot more sence to me than males
