for a 9 month old serious flat sides on both ends of hipbone, so artritis wil start at a very young age, but i have to agree this is a no good picture
i would pass on this one

Hmmmmm, unless this puppy is just too good to pass on, and he is priced extremely reasonable, I would pass on him. Don't see enough there that I would feel confident he would OFA or certify later. JMO

health should come first, and if these are pics at 9months breeding is not an option for me

Kyto, the flat spot is normal. It's the way the legs are positioned in relation to the pelvis that is wrong, which is why you're seeing them more than you would on a perfectly positioned xray.
I'd want a good xray with KNEES in the film before I'd say much about the dog.

Like Jenni says flat spot is normal.
The positioning isn´t correct but in my opinion even with better positioning it would be noch zugelassen - not for breeding /for me,SV allows hips like these for breeding/ but the dog shouldn´t have any problems with hips like these when working.

fair to mild dysplasia. I agree these would be OK to work but not good enough for breeding, shallow sockets and remodeling already at this young age probably won't improve with maturity. I would swim this dog and condition in sand or soft surfaces before doing any type of work, warm him up to prevent injury and extra wear and tear. Good luck. Nan

These hips are not good at all for a 9 month old pup. They won't pass OFA's I feel. I'd pass on him unless you just feel you must have him. JMHO
