In researching a dog's pedigree there is a dog with this AKC name and AKC # Anja vom Mons Tabor #D023406 . On the list the name is Ania vom Mons, if I remember correctly.
Her dam on the list is Tanja vom Monte Casino. I tried to find her on the AKC data base to obtain her AKC # for the list. Could not find her. Maybe the name is not correct or I am doing something wrong in entering onto the AKC data base.
Please tell me what I am doing incorrectly.
Thank you.

This dog: http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/dog.html?id=712282
The person who entered it into this database spelled its name wrong.
(The admins hopefully will read this and correct it..)
The reason you can find it on AKC site is because it was likely an import.. owners here in the USA registered it with AKC. Its parents were German registered.. with the SV.. and never with the AKC.
However, if you want to know its pedigree, you can either buy a pedigree from AKC, or find someone who has a copy of its pedigree from Germany.
Not sure, but it might be online someplace..

AKC has it spelled "Anja" ... enter it here:
http://classic.akc.org/store/reports/dog/search/dog_search.cfm?basic=yes
They might have miss-spelled it.. but that's what its number matches on their site.
Without seeing the SV papers from then, hard to know what the pedigree goes back to.
Didn't the OP enter that a few years ago?? I'm still not sure what other "list" they are talking about..
Figured it was this list.. Maybe the SV website will list the parent names..

Mons Tabor is a German kennel. We've had a couple of dogs from
there imported into the UK, Immo v Mons Tabor being one of them,
I was working with a daughter of his. Sorry although confirming this
I cannot help with more pedigree links, don't know where the vom
Monte Casino bit comes in - zat an AKC kennel name ?

From memory is never best no matter the source. Either way, your pedigree has been updated and completed now.
