In rather a joking mood, we were thinking today about gifts for our dogs... Since one of our wee little dogs is so focused on everything that happens on the kitchen counter, which he cannot see (unlike the GSDs), and since he is so crazy about food, we thought we would give him a little TV and leave it on the edge of the counter permanently on the Food Channel. He would love that. It would keep him busy all day long. For our large male GSD, we realized that we should give him his very own box of Kleenex. He cruises the house looking for these and finds them such a delicacy. If he had his very own box, he'd be in heaven. So what is the perfect gift to put under the tree for your guys?

lol, thats great.. And in following that theme of cuteness. My GSD would love his own library of those kids books that are made of cardboard... He picks those out of my daughters bookshelf, leaving all the rest, to shred. My male Shiba, a large stack of plain paper. He oh so gently, and quietly, pulls paper off the tables, and shelves and eats it. My Female Shiba, a large plush recliner, so I can have mine back. Merry Christmas!

Garden water hoses. No doubt aboutit. They go through about 20 hoses a year. Crazy, crazy about playin' the hose game which is chasing water in circles, loop-de-loops, for hours, never tiring of chasing water. The love of the game makes it impossible for them to resist picking up the hoses when the water is turned off and chewin' them to pieces.

Lets see... Sierra would want nothing more but a quiet place to rest – without any other dogs. She loves to be the only dog in the house/car/hotel room. Nemka would get a nice long water hose so that she could inch pieces off it (just like Ranchinglady dogs). Handra would get a papier-mâché helper so that she could practice bitework at home. Fanta would want a dog bed that fits into the corner of the kitchen so that she could sit there day and night. Akita would get a pair of slippers to chew on and a powder that actually enhances the taste of dog poop!

One of my dogs would be in heaven for Christmas if she could play in one of those pits filled with balls, that kids romp around in. Her head would probably explode from the pure excitement of it. My SAR dog would be beside herself for Christmas if she could be placed in a room with 10month old babies whose faces are smeared with grape jelly! she loves licking grape jelly faces!

Mine would also all love Kleenexes, but only with "flavor crystals", not fresh out of the box.LOL. Jaden would also love his own person hired just to throw the holey ball ALL DAY LONG!! Chance, the person to scratch his old coot back ALL DAY LONG. And, Xara, ahh, my princess, some one to give kisses to ALL DAY LONG. Hey, if my DH would let me quit my job, my furkids could all have their Christmas dreams come true!!!CH

Cierra would need to get her own leather couch, and Tye, my gsd wanna be, would need to get his own bed. Layla would have to have her own couch, and not share with anyone else (dog's or people). Zavien would need his own work out room that has everything that he can tear up and get a good work out.

One of mine would like her own personal cat--one that wouldn't run away everytime she tries to give it a bath. The rest of the pack would love their own helper so that they could work anytime they wanted.

My two-year old would like some long novels. Nothing more relaxing than laying down to eat a good book. The 9-month old would love a closet full of shoes of various types. That would be doggie-Nirvana for him.
