Probably something the dog spits out of his mouth after he killed the feathered friend and didnt like round hard pair of spots starring at him.

A smaller target than a bullseye? hahaha... Sorry, couldn't resist. Usually when someone refers to a "birds eye" it is in reference to a view as seen from above.

IF it's reffering to the eye of a GSD, maybe I can "shed some light" :-) I've heard this term looseley, so If I am wrong then I was misunderstood, it is my understanding that a Birds eye when reffered to the eye of the gsd, = a rounded forward eye, not correct per standard. Per standard the eye should be of dark brown color and almond shaped, NOT Round, Birds eye, reffers to Rounded or more so than almond. This is only my understanding and again I will say if I am wrong then I simply did not understand the termonology correctly. but hope this helps and hope it is correct. Hopefully others will confirm or deny and offer the correct explanation for the term "Birds eye"

Oh is that what they call that? Thanks Echo. I have seen a couple dogs like this... GSD's. I refered to them as goldfish eyes. LOL

I'd feel better if someone would confirm this, Like I said, It's my understanding/interpretation. Hope it's correct.

That's my understanding too, Mitch.
