I got a neighbor who opens a back door and lets his ankle biter mutt out...the problem is..no leash, no supervision, no fence...and guess what as soon as that mutt is out the door it barks none stop as it runs straight for my fence and proceeds to "attack" fence (which i installed 12 feet into our property in order to be considerate of the neighbors.  We all have over 1 acre properties),  the stupid mutt would not only sh*t on our property but would run along the side of the fence barking, even night when my dogs are inside  the mutt does the same thing at 10pm, 2AM, 5AM and by 6 am my dogs are out the door....so, let me tell u..2 month of this and I am no longer amused, and neither are my dogs .... to see my dogs trying to rip a fence apart to get to the disrespectful mutt is not a pretty site, so  i ran electric fence and put stubborn dog collars on my dogs....after a week my dogs started ignoring the mutt and don't even try to get close to that side of the fence yet barking and charging of the mutt is relentless and happens every time it is out ....so.....after some research please allow me to introduce SCARE CROW101

you must see a video at the bottom of the product one person posted review with a video...LOVE IT!

I am in a much different situation. It is my neighbors who come out and aggravate my dog causing him to bark at them. The police have informed them to quite yelling at him, blowing whistles and since he is trained in Schutzhund, to sqaure up , point and stare really gets him going. I keep a bark coller on him but he shocks himself a lot when they do this crap. I would love to have this thing to water them down when it happens!!!

I have not told neighbors anything, we just moved in less than 3 months ago, dont want to start confrontation...seems like a sprinkler that somehow goes off when their dog is present is a better non confrontational way....I will try to get a video of the dog before sprinkler this weekend...i just dont want to look like a creepy neighbor w/ camera in a sun room videotaping their dog...but will try before and after....i was kind of thinking of doing the set up and activation (scar crow should be here in 5 business days, actually 4 now) in the evening but for the sake of enjoyment / video may do it during day time...:)

A beebee gun would do much better.................

just my opinion though.

LF: My friend has a similar setup. She got tired of all the critters helping themselves to her garden. It does work, sometimes too well, if one forgets about it being on and decides to walk out to the garden.... Teeth Smile .

I think it is interesting that your dogs with the ecollars don't bother with the yapper. My neighbor has a yapper and she ties him up on her deck where he proceeds to bark his fool head off at my dogs. My dogs who have ecollars for our e-fence, just stand and stare at the yapper, too.You can see them thinking... just shut up already!

Have fun with your new toy, lol
