Just be careful. I've bought 5 pups from them in the past, 2 sets of littermates, and out of the 5 only 1 passed its OFA's and they would not do anything about it, no replacements or even a discount on buying another pup, so I won't do business with them again.

Cmills, Europeans dont give replacements for the puppies.

@GSDPACK- I guess it depends on who you use, I've bought from other European breeders, had HD or ED come up, and either got a replacement pup or a nice discount on another pup.
and I've even gotten pups with full health guarantees against HD/ED from Europe. I've been doing this 30 yrs, and have dealt with alot of breeders in Europe. Honestly z Elbu was the ONLY kennel not willing to do anything about a defective pup, or pups I should say.

That was nice to give you a discount. however noone in Czech, among each other breeders even friends dont give puppies for replacement. I know I would not count on one for sure. I would not even want one, they dont really make any money for the puppies unless they sell them to the US. So I would say, they wanted you to come back for more. Also I am sure they go their money samplece else to compensate for the replacement or discount.

@GSDPACK- I got pups from more than one different kennel in Europe that were replaced, not given a discount on. And to me I don't care what country they come from, a GOOD breeder in ANY country should replace defective pups they have produced, whether they've given a written guarantee or not. A good breeder should stand behind what they produce, no matter what country they are in. It is those kennels I will buy more pups/dogs from, and also recommend them to others. Word of mouth goes a long way in recommending where to buy from. . JMHO

I will disagree.
I will not pay over $1000 for a puppy (1200-1400) with shipping depending how crappy the dollar is and I will not ask to replace it either. My limit to pay for a puppy includes the risk of maybe some genes dont line up. Well if someone asks 2K for a puppy, they better come up with some serious replacement if the puppy farts stinky. I expect it to be darn perfect!
We have diferent expectations of breeders that is just fine.

Ok, so you say you are disagreeing that breeders should not have to guarantee or stand behind what they produce? WHY?? Are you in Czech I assume then? Personally I've not paid more than $1000 for a pup either, but with shipping to the USA that makes a big difference in total cost. and even at under $1000 I want my pup to be guaranteed. and that goes for wherever I buy from, foreign or domestic. It speaks volumes to me if a breeder guarantees their pups. And I guess if it had been only one, or even two, of the five pups I bought from z Elbu kennel that came down with HD, I may have been more forgiving. But come on, 4 out of 5?? that is NOT good odds.

CMills... I am not going to get into this. People can do whatever the hell they want, buy from whoever they want.
Have you thought about the fact that they take you as a broker? You purchased 5 puppies, you most likely will sell most of them...(their thinking maybe?).. I know I would think that also if someone bought so many dogs from me, they are probably for resale.
I have never requested guarantees, who can guarantee genetics? NOONE! At least not for now. If I want a "guarantee" I get a young dog with xrays done and something the dog can show me. Genetics have spoken at that point for the most part. Then I pay! and I expect the dog to SHOW me exactly what I was promised to purchase.
