In terms of coat length I have heard there are different types of coat length, stock being the standard, I have heard of a plush coat and of course the coated or long coat. Can anyone please tell me what type coat my girl has? She is alot softer than her litter mate who has a very short stock coat. And she has a little bit of feathering on her hocks and front legs and almost like a mane of hair/skin around her collar and chest area, I hope you can see in these pictures. I would very much like your input. Thank you!

Thank yall so much I appretiate it! She is such a sweetheart , everyone asks me if she's a wolf hybrid and I say nope she was just one of the silver sables out of the bunch in the litter. Her Dam was a white GSD and her Sire was a Bi-color.

Yes, Standard (stock) coat, but quite 'well-furnished' so probably
approaching the 'plush' quality appreciated by AKC [fwiw]. The
softer coats are actually incorrect to the original GSD Standard,
but very huggable on a pet dog.
Pretty colour, pretty girl. How old is she ? ('Mane' is a bit of a doggy
feature, if she's young enough that her final coat hasn't settled yet,
she might lose a bit of depth of ruff eventually).
Presumably her dam was a white-masking-sable.
