I can't foster until after the 17th of March. I will pledge funding to help transport or foster. Also, if someone can get them to Fort Worth on the 25th(late afternoon) I can get them to the Austin area on the 1st.

Professional transporters wont take puppies until they are 8 weeks old and have been vaccinated :(To cross state lines, they need health certifcates, so if they were transported,it would have to be all volunteer :( The risk of Parvo and distemper is real, as they have been in a shelter :( I am going to try to contact some TX rescues, but of course, they are almost always full.. There is just no end to the throw-away mentality, and laws need to be changed so animals cannot be regarded simply as property. Strong spay/neuter laws need to be enacated, but an even higher priority is to get the law changed so animals are not just commodities :(
