I was gone from the house for about 3 hours today, and when I returned, a whole loaf of whole wheat bread had disappeared from the kitchen counter!
I'm not sure which of my dogs got the lion's share of it, but my male GSD already has the runs, so I am wondering if maybe I should give them both peroxide to make them throw up their ill-gotten booty!
Opinions, anyone?

I wouldn't. There's no risk of impaction that I can see, it's not poison... I have only given peroxide one time, to a dog that ate a particular kind of rat poison.

Many dogs here never had the pleasure of eating anything other than bread.....

Watch for constipation. Other than that, I do not think there is any issues.

Unless it's raisin bread, don't worry about it. I'm surprised they even got the runs. Capri loves to steal bread- she can make multiple loaves or packages of hotdog/hamburger buns disappear in seconds- and has never had any stomach issues from it.

They will be OK, and will work through the loose stools. Don't worry.

It wasn't in a plastic wrap, though, was it ?
I might be a little more watchful of them if I
thought a dog had swallowed one of those.
But even so, I wouldn't bother making them
sick; just check it came out again in due
course.

Nope, it was in a shopping bag, and the bag was left on the floor, fully intact.
And my male had the runs BEFORE they got into the bread. He's been having loose stools since Saturday night. I may have to take him to the vet soon if it doesn't stop, but his appetite is fine (yeah...NO KIDDING!) and he' s only had one accident in the house.
