Had a siberian husky once---she did not have blue eyes, but was very pretty. They love to run and have the tendency to run away if they are loose. Mine had a high prey drive as well. Good with any person or dog she met, but she killed cats. Would never own another one.

They're sled dogs, so the instinct to roam for miles is strong. Lots of dogs will kill cats, goes back to origins.

Of course they love to run since that is what they were bred to do. Of course lots of dogs will kill cats. I was answering Eldee's question. They also do not make good watch dogs since they are friendly with everyone. And, of coarse, many breeds do not make good watch dogs. So, what is your point joanro?
