Law 56-12 has been adopted and will be enforced if we do not mobilize quickly to block it! This cowardly, shameful and discriminatory law stipulates, among other things, that it is forbidden to raise, to keep and train dogs considered "dangerous". All pitbulls and rottweilers will be killed immediately although a complete list of "dangerous" dogs has not even been released to the public and the language of the law is not precise! Even small breed dogs must be muzzled. Penalties are draconian: 5 years in prison for a dog bite and heavy fines.
The Moroccan state requires "owners" to give them up to the authorities within a period of one month to be killed!
Companion dogs, all mixed breeds, will severely be controlled and their owners sanctioned/heavily fined in the event of non-compliance!! One does not even dare imagine what is going to happen to stray dogs.
This is urgent, the dogs in Morocco no longer have the right to live and their days
are numbered! And as a result of the law passing, owners who do not want to risk the chance of their dog causing a problem, have already begun to abandon their dogs.

Cette loi lâche, honteuse et discriminatoire stipule ,entre autres qu'il est
interdit d'élever, de garder et de dresser les chiens dit "dangereux" L'état
marocain exige des "propriétaires" de les remettre aux autorités dans un
délai d'un mois pour être exécutés ! Les chiens de compagnie, toutes races
confondues, seront sévèrement contrôlés et leurs propriétaires sanctionnés
en cas de non respect !! On n'ose imaginer ce qu'il va advenir des chiens
errants ! Il y a urgence, les chiens au Maroc n'ont plus le droit de vivre
et leur temps est compté !
