Thanks Reggie. What state are you in? BTW, I don't train I am just a pet owner. I can post videos of my dogs working around the house but I don't think you guys would be much interested in my low quality dogs, LMAO.

I do have an IPhone but I would think the quality wouldn't be good enough to post here. Shades Smile And I have never even used the video on my Iphone. Hell I would have to do an internet search to find a tutorial on using the video camera.

I would think someone who goes to a lot of shows would have some video.

And no dogz it doesn't take a lot to see the black and white here.

Shows have not much to do with training, I assume you are referring
to conformation shows? There is ring training involved of course, but
working trials will showcase training much better. Next time we trial
or go to a show I will be sure to have someone video my dog just for
you GSD Thumbs Up Quite a few of us will be meeting at the WUSV in Philly,
perhaps you'd like to join the lot of us? I'd like to get Slam to work
my male and the wifes dog if possible while we are all there.

GSD  the state I live in is called the state of confusion.  Also called Florida.  Remember the hanging chads?  People post all kinds of videos on here you know that.  would be nice to see what kind of dogs you have.

I didn't see it as a training video, looked like a evaluation on a young dog as far as civil bite. No more ,no less.

First it  is important to know what you are looking at. Zdog yes. As you can see and it says so, it is just test, I am just holding the dog per request. There is no training.  Zero.  This guy wants to test my dogs for natural  ability to withstand susatained negative pressure without much of my interference or support. He was interested in buying these dogs. This is his test.   That is all. That is his video, not mine. There he posted several of these videos on my dogs on  Youtube and they are all the same. Testing dogs ability to withstand sustained negative pressure. There was 6 of these dogs, they were broathers.
FYI:  Proof is in the pudding. All those dogs except one, which I held for my self and is  with me, are with LE or with  private security or  homes. All owners are extremely happy with their performance and some of them have apprehensions and substance finds under their belt.  We have thousands of dogs out there and hundreds in LE.  I challenge you to come here to test the dog from  the video  which I am keeping. I'll treat you well if you show up. Bring your camera or someone may loan you one.. That would be the only way you could look like a man in my eyes. But  Workingdogs you are too much of a anonymous coward for that  and all you can do is to post other people's videos, and snipe them without context, but not yours videos. All you can do is  this Thumbs Up a lot and be  big sycophant, a servile self-seeker who attempts to win favor by flattering influential people like  Jim, who also does not posts any videos but challenges the others.  However I know that Jim can post good stuff and actually I would like to seeit, but  Jim knows and said so somewhere I believe, that it is easy to snipe videos and that is why he smartly does not post any. But at least Jim has enough decency and is man enough and is not  like you. Yes Jim is pissing me off on regular basis, but  I respect him and for what he is  and I hold no I'll will against him .  Yes you are the biggest know it all expert here who does not know much. Arm chair general.  There is over 800 post of your "stuff" here.   You are the expert, but only  in your own eyes on how now the training is better then in yesteryears.

LMAO
Ok Hans, coming from someone of your character I will consider the attempt at an insult
as a compliment Thumbs UpThumbs Up  My business keeps me fairly busy with travel, so you know, there
just may come a day I can swing through your neck of the woods. And I always have a camera,
it's built in to my smart phone. You won't need to worry about me wanting to test your dogs,
I have seen more than a few dogs from you and in respect to the owners of those dogs,
I will not speak to the quality or lack there of  with regard to those dogs.

I am far too much of an old man and know that I know enough that I am not a helper.
I leave that kind of stuff to the guys who are good at it. But, I also know enough to read
dogs from videos and in the flesh, you see, unlike people, dogs do not lie.

Again, I will take your assessment of my abilities  or lack there of as a compliment.Wink Smile
Last time I checked the TOS here, it was not noted that I use my full name or post videos of my dogs etc.
As soon as that changes, I'll be sure to adhere to the TOS. Until then, I will choose to participate
in the manner I do, you nor anyone else will dictate to me how I will or will not post. Admin has that priviledge
and the site owner, not you, so be sure to  check yourself in that regardThumbs Up

Any video can be used as a training video for others to learn from. Sometimes people learn
things they can do, or sometimes, they learn things they shouldn't do.

well context is nice, so if that is just a video of an totally untrained dog, being tested to see if it's suitable for training I'll ammend my comments a little.  I've seen that above scenerio too many times and people called it "training", so I just assumed this was the same.

The dog looks OK and could definitely be made better thru training.  Even if it was just a test, I would have conducted it a bit different.  Still using suspicion and letting the dog push me back a few times.  I think you can get a good guage of a dog without continually pushing it into avoidance, but that's me.  When you find a level when a dog is going to avoid, without training, why do you think it would suddenly show more? and you already found a level when it went "down", why make it do it over and over again?  I think having you there pulling it closer only confused the situation even more.  Put the dog on a tie out and test it.

Ok, I just got home from my trip taking care of my mother and my in laws.

Hans, I have posted videos.  You are correct though, I rarely post videos...here; but have on other forums, I'm also not influential just another guy who enjoys his job and his dog.  I'm back to work tomorrow and it's SWAT training with Boomer.   Next Tuesday a major vendor of Military and LE working dogs is coming out to train with us, I will also be working my dog all week on the street as well.  Let me know what you'd like to see and I will be more than happy to video it.  Give me a scenario, tactical obedience, aggression work with multiple decoys, building clearing, detection work, table training, etc.  It may not be perfect or pretty; but I'll video it with a GO Pro or even my IPhone (mine takes nice video).  What ever you'd like to see me or the dog do, if I am able to post it I will.  There are some aspects of our training I won't post for the general public.  Then it's your turn, deal?

zdog,
Put the dog on a tie out and test it.

That would have been a better way to test the dog! I do think you assessment in the last paragraph is pretty accurate.

Workingdogz I am glad that you are intertained. But what I said is not about TOS but about your character.
