I thought it was about time I introduced you to the new pupster and I may aswell throw it out there.... Apart from cute and adoreable Whats in the mix? (She isn't a purebred GSD she built to run not trot, and is very square)

what is her temperament like?
what are her breed specific quirks?

she looks mostly working gsd to me, maybe a bit of lab?

she's a doll.

Gorgeous pup, I wanna say there's some lab in there too but that's just my wild guess!

There's something about her front end build and the shape of her head that screams mali... you only see it from certain angles and its really hard to catch in a photo. (If you walk around her you change your mind about what she is... you see shepherd from one angle then move and look again and think no she isn't)  Her head is wrong, its more triangular (ignore the ears as they are a lost cause!) she has a shallower cheek and very little stop.

She has a lovely temperament, she's a bit of a love bug likes her cuddles, she's not worried about telling you off if she thinks she's been hard done by (lets say she's not handler sensitive!) slightly environmentally & noise sensitive (Gob at it then charge over to see what it is, so at the minute she's getting to see lots of new things) she has prey drive to die for, her food drive is decent, I wouldn't say over the top - but at the minute the concentration span of a gnat! (oooh shiny!!)   She's quite a brash dog, very bold in everyday situations, not shy about going forward.  She's clever but not in a shepherd way if you know what I mean?

She can also throw the eye - she's got lovely soft eyes but she's also got the look.

She's not totally black she has sabling on her trousers underside of the tail, pits and stifle and her feet and she is getting a brown tinge pretty much allover.  She doesn't conform to a shepherd not from any lines that I've had (and I've only not had czech or belgian)

I've got a blummin good dog i know that whatever she is I couldn't have asked for more.  And considering she came over to the UK ona  rescue Transport from ireland, I think we both landed on our feet :)

Beautiful pup;  Shep/Lab.  or like someone else said, maybe just black Shep??  Enjoy her.    Glad you rescued her.  She looks like a very fun girl, and may she live a long and healthy life.  Nan

Labs can have almost, mind reading, thought processes. Or maybe a better way to put it, really in tune to what humans want from them. But can be brash alot of what your describing. Like most everyone else I'd guess lab shepherd.

I'm with GSD Admin...there's nothing about that dog that would lead me to believe...as she looks now...that she is anything other than a black WL GSD.
