Hi! I am posting this on behalf of my daughter who is looking for veterinary references for the Ft. Lauderdale area. She has a very sweet Pit Bull who desperately needs dental work. There seems to be a serious prejudice against this breed down there so we were hoping that someone could steer her in the right direction to a vet who was open-minded to the bully breeds. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hollywood animal hospital. Intersection of I-95 and Hollywood Blvd. 954-920-3556. They are excellent, not cheap, but, very good at what they do.

Dr. Dingfelder at Balasky Animal Hospital on Griffin Rd. in Davie. Very good and reasonable.
