Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of this condition in GSD's?? I have applied to adopt a rescue pup (7 months) that was born with this condition, as were the 2 other pups in the litter. The rescue group went down to New Orleans to get the pups during hurricane Isaac when they were just 8 weeks old. They have done a great job with therapy and braces etc, and the leg bends quite nicely now. My question is what continued work should I do, and are there any suggested supplements that would help him as he ages if I am lucky enough to adopt him? I want to give him the best life possible and to help him thrive with his condition. Thanks for any ideas. Heidi.
