Apple cider vinegar, spray it on and let it dry then rinse

Plastic smell, urine, doggy? I usually wash mine in regular dish soap every once in a while and allow to dry in the sun.
Not really had much of an odor problem with crates.

What smell? My crates (and dogs) smell like my laundry detergent, though when I wash dog bedding I use less and do an extra rinse in case they are sensitive to it.

I never had a smell in my crates either except the time Prince had gotten a yeast infection...Might want to be sure the cause is not due to something else..

No smells here either. If one of them has an accident, (which is never) I would use hottest water I could stand.

I guess I could avoid my crates getting ripe if I kept Fluffy in the house all of the time, gave him a bath every week and never, ever, under any circumstances, took him out onto a muddy training field.
