The young pups at the Rainbow Bridge will be learning to mind their manners tonight as when I got home from work today the old man, my 20 year old cat, told me it was time to go.
He chose us, showing up on our doorstep 15 years ago at the age of seven and moving into our lives. He watched over my son, keeping him from falling out of bed when he first moved from the crib to the toddler bed and he was the first to come and check when he heard someone crying.
My Shepherds' learned to their kitty manners with him as he always held his ground, never ran or triggered prey chasing and a instead would deliver a good firm swat to a nose (never drew blood, just respect!) was a firm notice for them to mind their Ps and Qs.
He will be dearly missed by the humans, canines and felines of the house. Have fun across the Bridge Taz, its' time to chase all the moles.

Thank you, Dawulf.
My male, the dog in my avatar has not stopped whinning and fussing since I came home empty handed. He keeps looking for the old man.

Very sorry for your loss. Taz sounds like quite a cat and he will be sorely missed.

Family is family, be they feline, canine, or human. Wolf could not bear to live without his feline love, Caruso, & followed him to the Bridge.
