TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

For some reason whenever I click on a site link..... it won't allow the server to connect automatically or I am getting WOT warnings... no matter what browser I am using.....

I have found I can go to the suggested site if I delete the "s" from the https.......!

I do remember this was an issue for more than just me at one time.... I get no admin replies to my PM's?

Is there ANY ONE who can help me with this?

Thanks for listening.

I'm still locked out of the chat room GSD, maybe you could fix that.

Easy, download Firefox. IE is junk.

Need a link? Firefox is 10 times more secure than internet explorer.

My problem is with links from PDB to other sites, like this one from the All Breeds...

http://agilitymach.hubpages.com/hub/How-Does-a-Dogs-Color-Vision-Affect-Canine-Sport-How-do-Dogs-See

I am using Chrome, and in the unsecure URL right now. My problem is when I am in the secure URL for PDB... here are two screen shots, one with the secure site, one with the unsecure....

See how it changes?  I have a problem with the secure site URL... adding an "s"..... like it happened before....

And really, I thought the unsecure URL had been disabled? But apparently not....?

So, please what is my problem?

Thanks.

HUH? You can't use the https for another site unless it uses https. I must not be understanding your issue.

Let me try again....

Do you see in the two screen shots.... your two links.... the first one shows the two links you made and they show "https"..... and that is because I am signed in using Chrome and the secure PDB URL that Oli posted way back when he introduced, it originally.

The second screen shot... it shows the first link as "http" and the bottom one as "https"...

So, what happens is..... (not the in house links) when I attempt to follow a posters link to another web site.... I can only go there directly from the unsecure URL....

If the site is not a true "https" site, the secure URL is adding the "s", and it prevents me access, directly.

Please... don't you remember this happened before....?
