if i dont plan on showing my pups, what would be the reasoning/ benefit of AKC registering my SV dogs, y wouldnt i keep them SV........also, if i did keep them SV, and years down the road breed would the pups be able 2 be registered AKC

Mario, the parents have to be AKC registered in order to register a litter by them.

if i understand this correct though, if later down the road he so chooses to breed the dogs with only SV papers...he could go and get the parents AKC registered if he has proper paperwork from the SV, and then register the litter, even after they've been born, correct? That is how i understood it, but wanted to verify

You will also need to send AKC a DNA sample of any import, (registered with AKC or not) for litter registration.

Or you can fill out the form for foreign sire/dam. I believe at least one has to be AKC.

To avoid any circumstances you should AKC them before breeding.
You still are in Germany, ask for a BESCHEINIGUNG / proof of ownership.

when you akc register do they keep the sv papers..........it isnt to big of a deal i just like the ORIGINAL SV papers, i guess i could make some copies, and just akc register them....................what would i need to do other then send them DNA

NEVER send the originals, AKC tells you send copis.
And yes, get the Bescheinigung BEFORE you leave Germany, it will be much easier for you in the long run
