Wow I'm in the wrong business, LOL!  I've imported many nice dogs over the past several years and never paid anywhere near those prices, and all were out of titled, top ranking parents.

I agree CMills!! I have done the same! Why would someone pay these prices when you can import your own for much less??

Very well said in your other post live4schutzhund. You also have to consider the amount of money companies like this spend on flying there trainers to the location of the buyer to train the buyer. Not to mention the time spent training the dogs to the point that the people buying them are happy with what they get. I  also wouldn't ever buy a dog from a company like these, but I can't blame them for what they're doing.

The site referenced in the other thread has a 9-month old dog listed in their, "For Sale - Trained Adults," section for $12,500.00.  Yes, the fine print explains that he has no training but shows "potential" but to even list him him and several other pups in that category is misleading.  I guess the question to be asked is whether or not something is really ethical simply because a person can find someone foolish enough to dramatically overpay for it.
