Not sure I can request this but..... - Page 1

We are funding for Smokey, our $3400 uretha dog so if there is anyone out there who can donate....we would so much appreciate it. After eating through his stitches, he now fashions a lovely cone and staples. Kinda looks like a daisy.

Well, she has 140 already, much more than other threads this new.  Seems to be working.

And how many people would actually click if I put Attn Mastiff Lovers? I'm guessing not too many......

Excuse me for pointing out that the dog surely wasn't going to get as much help with a totally non-descriptive header as if you stated what was wrong and what was needed.  I would never have clicked it on purpose. It was just above one I wanted to read and I clicked it by accident. It had been up for over 3 hours when I looked at it and had only 87 clicks- by comparison, that's not much. It nearly doubled after I bumped it by posting, but a pertinent title would help, I think. 

You don't have to put anything about "Mastiff Lovers" in there, either. How about simply stating the problem? How about something like "Please help-donations desperately needed to save rescue dog" or something accurate like that? Isn't that what you're trying to do? 

Just an idea...

Actually the ambiguity of the topic made me curious enough to click, if it would have said Donations needed I might have just passed it by.
