You'd be surprised, Bee. I can't tell you how many people have asked me how effective the "GPS-tracking" capability was in chips, lol.

I know a dentist that will fix them up for a couple grand they look like boar tusk though, but they work better.
 
Another thing in microchips don't comunicate with GPS

destiny, not uncommon at all for law enforcement dogs to damage their canine teeth, and also not uncommon for them to have root canals, caps and/or crowns to address the damage.  There are sport dogs that have this done as well; that type of damage is often the result of the dog gnawing at their kennel door/gate...
