JUST WANTED TO TOUCH ON THIS, IT JUST KILLS ME INSIDE TO THINK WHAT HAPPEN TO THESE BABIES, AND TEACHERS BECAUSE OF SOME PUNK ASS KID LOST IT.

If you mean the shooting, I feel sorry for the victims. Weapons for personal citizen use should be banned in my opinion.

Ibrahim

P.S: maybe this post should be in the OT forum

Ibrahim, sorry to disagree with you but if you ban the use of weapons for citizens that leaves them defensless when criminals attack them.  Most criminals either get guns through someone else, get them illegaly (which they will do even if guns are banned), and they will not follow gun bans.   Banning guns will not solve any problem.  A sad tragedy indeed though.

Ban crazy people, not guns. The crazies will do horrific things even if no guns. The guns are idle 'til a crazy puts them to action. Ted Bundy killed many people and did not use a gun.

Not fighting over this it was the dip shit ass hermit who lived in his moms basement not the guns if they ban guns this will cause an uprising and everyone will be screwed banning guns , shit you can get guns in my neighborhood for $50 bucks, it's the people and  how they use them, not the guns you have a right to bare arms, never going to change

What would solve this is more guns, arm the teachers, custodians and administators, then we would have absolutely no worries, right?

What a tragedy. Sad Smile

Not getting in to the gun debate, lol. No words to describe the feeling when I saw this on the news. My heart breaks for those left without a loved one and the ones lost, deepest sympathies go to everyone of them.

Ibrahim,
If you truly understood our history you would understand our ownership of weapons.
But your not alone, people here have no understanding of the principle either and they are citizens.

The real problem is our society,
we allow our children to play bloody video games and show them glorified violence on TV, and when a child has problems we sweep them under the rug.
Many years back there was news of mentally ill people being released out onto the streets for financial reasons.
No one really even wants to know they are there.

And GSD,
half the people who carry hand guns now are not qualified to do so, giving everyone a gun would be foolish.
Every time something like this happens the gun is blamed, would you blame a hammer if your house fell apart?
Of course not.

Schools are supposed to have security, they have had enough time to do so, how did this man enter the school?
I hold the school party at fault.
I suspect there will even be an attempt to do just that in a court of law, people will be looking for justice where ever they can find it.

So,
instead of fixing this on a social level they will try to legislate it.

This is a tragedy, but is it any worst than children in a war zone who are killed and injured everyday in so many places around the world, I think not.

Human society is the true problem.

Moons.

So, a weapon is a tool? What would be the purpose of this tool? Could it be to kill? Reminds me of something you posted the other day. Silly tool.

The 2nd amendment was written in a different time and place and specifically goes to the right to bear arms in a militia setting. It wasn't until the Supremes made a bad decision in the interpretation of that right that gun ownership exploded.

I have heard for 30 years that guns don't kill, people kill, well I am here to tell you things aren't getting better. Another major fallacy is the saying more guns = less deaths and less crime, lol, really?

You can blame it on society, people with mental illness and a whole host of other non-sense but I don't really see this problem in other countries that have gun control.

I feel extremely sadden for the loss of innocent lives and the grief those parents are feeling and I can say without a doubt that guns kill fast and quick from a distance and it is just so easy to pick one up and start shooting. I have lost a family member to gun violence so please save me the rhetoric of how guns are safe and society is somehow better with guns on every person.

Your loss explains your attitude.
