My 3 yo Purebred female Brandy had six ( 6 ) Beautiful Lil Solid black German Shepherd Pups yesterday. Looks just like their dad... :) So proud of mom too....
Mom is a 3 yo black/tan
Dad is a 2 yo solid black
This is all new for me. I will try and get a picture sometime in couple days. Anyone have any advice or thoughts without getting negative ???

Congrats on the pups. They're all solid black even though mom is black and tan? Are you sure?

@jenni78 it will be a couple weeks before they get coloring. I'm sure there will be a few a black ones

Basic color genetics, as long as the bitch carries black recessive,
of course the puppies can be solid black.

I too have seen a majority of pups in a large litter be solid black with a blk & tan mother, solid black father.

one or two has white coloring on paws
one has a white strike down center of head
Other then that ....They are SOLID black
I will keep one or two , But the rest I want to find good Working homes for them....
