Is there some way to request a rescue dog post either be removed (optimal) or have the post stamped "gone" to keep let rescuers/adopters updated? Most of the posts are outdated within a couple of weeks. Maybe the post can auto delete like Classifieds.

We can delete the posts. I would think a record of comments and what folks did would be nice but hey if you guys want them deleted just let an admin know.

I would rather see them stay. They are certainly "feel good" topics.
I would suggest to allow the Topic Headline be able to be edited to say, RESCUED.
It really is nice to be able to see the good deeds that are being done, and to FOREVER, bare witness to the extra mile, MANY put in.
BTW-Everyone that is involved in saving these dogs deserve a Medal for their efforts, BUT, just remember that on Judgement Day, ALL of YOU, WILL be judged and rewarded for your FANTASTIC efforts.
Anyway, I say leave them up, just allow for an early on UPDATE.JMO
