I always look at dogs for sale ads here and elsewhere for gsd. Been seeing recently DNA certified in them. What does that mean? Should I send a DNA test somewhere for my dog

I'll take a shot at this, maybe someone else can chime in and add to this, or correct me if I'm wrong... but I'm pretty sure the DNA thing that you see is required from the AKC after a dog has been bred so many times. It's my guess that its a record of the dogs DNA. I hope this is somewhat helpful. :)
