I've been silent for months ....but it's time to put some things to rest. Please bare with me for this post is a bit long........I will omit some names to protect their privacy since some have already been harassed and attempts to intimidate them have been used by "friends" of Ms. Williams. Every attempt was made to blackball me so no other breeder would sell me a pup. I wish to bring no ill will upon other vom Eisenherz dog owners or others who wish to stay anonymous due to fear of being bashed on the message boards as I was.
I've been accused of neglect/abuse/physical harm to a puppy. I have documentation from several Ortho vets that all agree there was "no trauma" to the pups legs. A few being Dr. Muir... Associate Professor from UW Madison ,Dr. Keller... Executive Director from the OFA, Dr. Link from Spring Harbor Veterinary ( if you are in my area you will know Dr. Links reputation)to name a few.
I also have documentation from Dr. Gelb...Imaging & Radiology from Surgical Referral Service, the very same clinic Corrado's surgery was done at. It seems as before with another of Jen's dogs, a certain vet marked "injury" so she can collect insurance. This vet is no longer with them and the Hospital Director and Dr Gelb stand behind "no trauma".
Ms. Williams has been posting that she put $6500 into the surgery. The actual amount was $3411.30. I don't know the reason for this...... I guess jacking up the price made the "trauma" seem worse. A document was introduced by Ms. Williams attorney as evidence I inflicted injury. It was an insurance claim dated 7/3/2012.It states the dog was "injured" between May and June 2012. I guess she forgot she had the dog in HER possession since March 30th,2012.....so that means that if there was injury,either the dog was injured in HER care.... because if he was injured in My care that would be insurance fraud.. Where the form says what the issue is it states UAP and says nothing of "multible fractures" to his front legs or paws.
My dogs are seen on a weekly basis by our TD and club. I have two separate TD's who gave statements saying our dogs are well cared for and they have never seen any thing to lead them to believe they are mistreated or abused and they would have no problem selling us a dog. My personal vet also confirmed my dogs have never shown any form of neglect /abuse. Upon a visit from Animal Control they found my animals to be in great shape...cased closed. It made sense who most likely called only after I saw a posting recently that she had been investigated because some one had called AC on her. She insinuated in posts that "trash" (my nickname
from her) did it. Sorry...I have better things to do, what she does with HER dogs had no bearing on the court case. But I do recall her posting how despicable it is to report someone to AC for no reason...hmmmmmm
It was posted several times that I was paid by Ms. Williams upon the return of Corrado. I never received the cashiers check that allegedly was sent. Upon notifying her of this, she accused me of trying to get double my money back and extorting her. I have bank documentation showing not only was the check never cashed, but Ms. Williams stopped payment on it the day she received her court summons. Even after she stopped payment, she continued to post that she paid me and bought back the puppy back. Attempts were made to get her to re-issue another check, but she refused. Small claims was the only solution. The day before the first court date she emailed me a rambling rant of an offer that even her attorney didn't understand. I refused, she had PLENTY of time to resolve the matter and now time,money and court fees were involved.
She keeps stating I refused to sign her contract. For one, she had no contract or AKC papers for me when I picked up the pup. I left hoping in good faith that she would provide them later. A contract was finally emailed to me...problem was it was for a whole different litter and for a whole different client. I informed her of this and she never sent another contract.I waited for the papers because she claimed there were mix ups with the owner of the pups sire. When they finally came I was happy just to get them and I'll leave it at that.
I have ALL emails from Ms. Williams. I have the whole scenario from the time I put a deposit down to the last "offer" she made. They show cooperation on both our parts to find a solution to Corrado's situation up until she actually had him back in her possession(complete with papers,vet records,and insurance). I have several that state she will refund my money. She stated she prefers to handle the situation that way because she did not know when and could not tell who the sire would be IF she bred again. There is even an email that states I can use the emails as evidence in court to prove she will pay me. It wasn't until she had him back did she cry "abuse" and started to try and discredit me on several message boards.
She publicly has called me and my family thief,con artist,criminal,scammer , violent felon,etc. She has told people my home is in foreclosure and I am broke and in need of money so desperately I'm trying to collect double from her. Throughout all this, I kept my composure and did not stoop down to her level and bash her as she did me. As I have always stated...I have nothing to hide. As for the big,bad felon....unfortunately my son had a charge for pot several years ago. He now is a single father raising his son best he can and I'm VERY PROUD of him. My other son is a former Marine who served in Iraq and now is an Officer for the Department of Defense. My third son owns a small cleaning business and has always had a clean record as well.I refuse to be made to feel ashamed or less of a person because of things in my past that are quite frankly in a lot of peoples past. It's called "life" and you can't always control what happens........
As of yesterday a judgment was entered at the Kendall County Courthouse. Ms. Williams did not appear for the 3rd time even though she is minutes away compared to the almost 2 hour trip I make to get there. Her attorney claimed she had managers flying in to evaluate her work performance . (the judge didn't fall for that one either)They must have been there to evaluate her message board skills because it appears she was actively posting(14 month old American girl) during the time she should have been at TRIAL(1pm). If she truly felt she would win this case then I would have assumed she would have MADE the time to appear .
I've attached a few documents that are meant to give a glimpse into the reality of the situation that I endured for months. If I was to post ALL evidence it would take forever....there is almost 4 inch stack of papers. If you want more you will have to contact me directly, my intentions are not to humiliate Ms. Wiliams by posting every single discrepency in the case. I have no anger, no malice....I just want to be vindicated of the terrible things that she has said to hurt myself and my family. I hope this will be the last time I have to defend myself on this situation. If the assaults on my character continue, civil court will be next and this time I will be sure to subpoena Ms. Williams to court to ensure she cannot get out of appearing for trial. For everybody's sake I hope she chooses to keep her comments to herself, she is her own worst enemy. To carry on and trash my family or our character will still not prove anything pertinent to this case, it will just show how vile and vindictive that she can be.
On a closing note....This whole mess started with a wonderful little pup who had the misfortune of being born with issues. It happens, the best bred dogs can pop up with medical issues just as humans can. As the breeder of the pup she should have handled the situation with tact and professionalism, not false accusations and vile behavior. I hope his new owners enjoy him as much as we did. I am worried however that they are not aware that this was a genetic problem , a natural malady,not injury or trauma, so they are not tempted to use him in any breeding program.

Any of us would want the same. I agree that you did conduct yourself with class, and I'm happy you've been vindicated. All the best with your new pup TH and all the best to you and your family. :)

I skimmed through your post and did not see it and really can't read the documents, can you just reply with the name of the genetic condition you are saying Corrado has?

Vom Eisenherz was one of the breeders I was researching several weeks ago-and thanks to google, I found another thread pertaining to this dog Corrado and was wondering what had ever become of this situation. I guess I can cross this one off the list! I hope the dog is in good hands now.
ETA: Happy to hear that you have been vindicated. To be acused of abuse to any living creature is a horrible thing. Shame on this breeder.

Thank you Red Sable and Blitzen....but it's only half over, the judgment is in but if she doesn't pay in a reasonable time frame I'll have to garnish wages.
Darcy...Corrado unfortunately had a severe case of ED. (UAP) It happens, even to the best, but this was more about how the breeder handled it.

Just wanted to know what the inherited conditon was. Thanks. After having dogs with bad hips, bad knees, immune deificiencies, EPI , cancer and spondylosis, nothing has been blamed on one dog in my cases. I was always told polygnenic and environmentally influenced.

So, just out of curiosity, how are you explaining this dog's fractured jaw and broken tooth? Were those also genetic? You might have a bit more credibility if you told us all who you you are.. you're not likely to publish your real name; huh?
