I have joined PDB a few years ago. I´ve learned a lot from the other members since I joined.I am very thankful especially these days as the things I´ve learned here helped me to save my female and her pups.Thanks to PDB I knew that the temperature of the female drops one day before the delivery.Afra´s temperature went down on Monday so I knew that in 12-24 hours the birth should start.So when no pup was on the ground on Tuesday morning while Afra was getting nervous,I knew things are not going the way we want them to go.I took Afra quickly to vet,he did sono and decided to do C-section.Afra had 16 pups!!!Because of that huge number she couldn´t deliver them naturally,4 of them were already dead,12 were alive.Hadn´t I known the info on temperature dropping down the day before the delivery,I would have come to vet much later.

Oooops,this should have been in All breeds not Rescues.

Puppies and mamma are fortunate to have a well educated and intelligent owner to take care of them, well done Cage. It's a good chance to thank all the good members on PDB board for their advice and sincere educating info they offer to the less knowledgeable.
