DDR-DSH

by DDR-DSH on 28 November 2006 - 03:11

Check out this artist! She and her associate volunteers are doing free paintings of fallen US Iraq war heroes for their families. This is so cool. Especially look a little past the halfway point on the page for Sgt. Adam L. Cann U.S.M.C with his military K9 GSD "Bruno". Awesome painting! (hint: to find it more easily, go to your browser toolbar overhead, select "edit", and pull down the "find" window. Then type in Bruno you'll go right to it! http://www.kaziahthegoatwoman.com/heroes.html

I thank you for this DDR-DSH. That is so touching. This is costing someone a lot of time and money. I'm sure it will be soooo appreciated by the families/loved ones who get them. Again thanks for the post

The today show did a segment on her yesterday, she is the coolest person.. one tough talking truck driver kind of woman, swore up a blue streak during her interview .. her tears had me in tears. She is an awesome artist and is very passionate about painting portraits of all the fallen soldiers.. for free!!! Thansk so much for that link.. these are the very cool things about this chat list!!

The pictures are really great. There is a couple that are getting packs together for the K9's serving our country over in Iraq. The site is http://thehousehound.net/_wsn/page4.html. My club has already sent one round of stuff over. The troops really appreciate anything! They have a great list of things to send and are extremely helpful on getting you through the mailing process. Might be something nice to do for the holidays...

Very awesome job and such a great thing to do for the families. It's so sad to see just a handfull of the faces who laid down for us. Such a huge sacrafice.

That is incredible. Makes me tear up just at the sight of the first few. This woman must be amazing. The emotion she must feel as she paints each one. What a sacrifice. God bless this woman!!!
