well, the genetics are certainly there, but that is only half the equation.  the other half will be determined by
what kind of training the dog receives.  best of luck.

As was said when you asked about this breeding earlier, you could do far, far, FAR worse than this pairing, or this breeder, for your intended purposes--this is a solid pedigree, and the breeder's reputation as someone who truly does know what she's doing is steadily and strongly on the rise.

But the question still remains, how much experience do YOU have in the sport?  Because no matter how genetically well-suited for the work a puppy is, if the training is inept, the full potential of the animal is far less likely to be uncovered, let alone used to its fullest extent. For example,  I am a really, REALLY great baby puppy raiser, able to teach the whole housebreaking/don't eat the furniture/come when you're called sort of stuff beautifully--but as a trainer/handler for more advanced training, I suck, because I'm as graceful as a hippopotamus on stilts.  I trip over the smallest dip in a grass field while working on heeling at a run, for example--full face plant, confusing the dog and making it harder for it to learn how the exercise is SUPPOSED to work. This is NOT a fictional event, BTW--there are plenty of people who can attest to the fact that I can fall better on a SchH field than anyone they've ever met, 'cause I don't even get hurt.  Right, judron? Tongue Smile

So when you say you're aspiring to 'high level SchH/IPO', if you happen to be a 'natural born trainer', you could probably take a pup with the most rudimentary of inborn talent and take it to the level you're after, and in your hands a puppy with the type of genetics in this pedigree [Friko x Daily], or any of the pairings in your other post, and there'd be no stopping you.  If you're cursed with my handling skills, OTOH, it's going to be a WHOLE lot harder for you to get where you want to be, no matter how well bred the puppy or dog you acquire.
