Over the last twenty five years, I have purchased three Doberman puppies from Kimbertal, and wouldn't trade them for nothing.
The horror stories about Kimbertal being a puppy mill is Bs.
Right now I am searching for another puppy.

I don't know if they can be considered a puppy mill, but they are irresponsible. NO RESPONSIBLE euro line working Dobe breeder and NO RESPONSIBLE american show line Dobe breeder in USA would ever support or recommend Kimbertal Kennels to get a Doberman Pinscher from. I recently looked at their puppy page, the puppies don't look very clean (I don't breed dobes, but friends do(I see their pups at birth up until they are ready to go to their new homes, and most are spoken for BEFORE they are born), and both times I got my dobes they were so clean, nails trimmed, ears posted great and CLEAN wraps, also I was on a waiting list of the breeders for both of my Dobes, one from american show lines, one from euro working lines). Several of the pups have long nails. They are all laying down, if their lines are so great why don't they stack them? They advertise them as being 'superior size', and lastly the prices are way too high for the lower quality of these pups. I will gladly pay 2000 for a Doberman puppy from a REPUTABLE show or working breeder, but I wouldn't pay 100 dollars for a Kimbertal puppy. I'm not saying that all dogs from Kimbertal are bad, but I am saying I would not support such an irresponsible breeding program, and I hope that anyone looking for a Doberman puppy would do their research before giving such a place money.
