They arent great. Especially the first one. considering you dont know much about the dams' side. You wanna look for titled parents and titled 3rd gen, 4th gen, etc. You also wanna look for hips/elbows. Make sure parents 3rd gen, 4th gen, etc. are all certified. whether its from OFA, SZ, Czech, whatever one is fine. I would not buy these dogs.

I have found the pedigree for  Uncommon Valor Vom Leatherneck's dam and have put some of it in. (Someone can fill out the rest of her pedigree using the link to the pedigree for her at PawVillage.) It seems she is from very good American show lines. So his dam is show lines while his shire seems to be working lines. Actually it looks like both Kaiser and Uncommon Valor Vom Leatherneck are mixed with working and show lines. I myself prefer the working line dogs as they tend to have better health. I'm not too found of mixing show and working lines as I own a German Shepherd that is show line x working. He is not the brightest crayon in the box and is very wild and needs professional training badly, though I cannot afford it. I myself will never own another show x working dog as I have a hard time with my dog from them. If you want a pet then go with one of these dogs if you want, but if it's for show or working then you need to look else where. If it's a pet Mal you want, then there are plently of them sitting in shelters just waiting for good homes. Make sure before you buy a purebred Mal that you see the pedigree fully. I did not and got a lemon of a dog.
