Almost 60% water seems like a lot, I am not sure what the other blends are in water the rest sounds OK though. What brand is it?

Blend is something I hadcome up with..tinkering with the additives, mixture. WIll confirm on moisture tally, thx Nans!

OH OKAY: If you are making it that is fine but if you are buying it already made I would want less moisture. Reason I am saying this is that I bought a mixture once, can't remember which one it was and thawed it out and it shrunk down like to half the size once the moisture was out. Really felt like they could have done better; like more meat less water. Just food for thought. Nan

Why do you want to do it with chicken when the dog can just eat the chicken with the bones etc? I would think you'd be grinding using the larger ungulates instead.

I used to use Chicken Carcassess but found it more an issue when storing for multiple dogs etc. I use 1LB Pre Packaged portions and it's less risk with exposure.
