More sadness.  I'm sure my beloveds Jess and Hexe were happy to see her again.  Thanks, Wynn, for everything you did for dogs of all breeds, and for two of my girls.
[Rats. I typed the name in the wrong order. Can't edit it. Ah, the joys of dyslexic fingers...]

Sorry to hear this.  She was well respected in obedience for decades.   I have a very much worn and dog earred copy of her book, Expert Obedience Training For Dogs.

She was a true advocate for the breed and her book, The German Shepherd Today, was the first education I had into this special dog.  She was loved by many. She made a huge contribution to the German Shepherd in North America.

I was lucky enough to meet this fine woman last year at the very dog club she founded.  I felt like I was meeting a celebrity.

I was so very sorry to hear of her passing.  Almost 96 years on this earth, though.  Man, she must have seen some things :)

Win Strickland set so many AKC breed records with her dogs that it's hard to recall all of them. She truly was a legend in the AKC world. She used to pull up at the OB ring in her Mercedes convertible with multiple GSD's seated side-by-side. When she was in the ring with one, the rest were platzed at ringside. I believe her dog ,Jal, may still hold the AKC record for the most 200 OB scores. The dog world has lost a great one.

May she rest in peace, after a happy reunion with all her beloved dogs who passed before her. I have all her books and learned so much from her. Thank you, Wynn, for making the dog world a better place. May her relatives be comforted at this time of loss.
