Aren't we all on the same side? Don't we all want to rescue innocent lives? How can you be compassionate for dogs and not care about the hurt you might give to a human? Calling some ones house a crack house is just mean spirited. I have adopted from Rhea, and have been to her house. She made it clear that her house in under construction. She is, with her own funds, putting kennels in her back yard, which she has partially completed and they look darn good. The floor in her house is torn up because she is putting down a new one. The person who insulted her house, did you not see the pergo in the kitchen and where they had left off. She does not hoard dogs, she is always looking for fosters, asking for help, giving dogs away to appropriate breed rescues, etc. I have also brought my 8 and 10 year old daughters to her house to help socialize pups. They have never been attacked or even growled at. I also know Mikey. He has come a long way. Rhea would be the first to tell you, if he does get adopted out, it would have to be to a VERY experienced dog owner who knew and understood his temperament. I know we all have different opinions about rescue, which dogs should be rescued, which ones should be put down, what the rules should their be for adoption, etc. We aren't going to agree on any one particular way, can't we just all say, I wouldn't do it that way, but it's okay person x does? So she doesn’t like protection work. How in any way, shape or form could that make her a bad rescuer. Please don't believe what 1 or 2 people are saying. Rhea is a good person with a kind and loving soul. It’s easy to bad mouth someone on a message board, that doesn’t mean it’s true. In the end, if Rhea's rescue program fails, it will be the innocent dogs who suffer. We all love dogs and we can't let that happen.

And Sir, self labeled 'Master Trainer' SPD-K9 Helser your clearly defaming & false statements such as "RESTRAINING ORDERS E-mails , PICTURES , CRIMINAL COURT RECORDS" the so called 'Court Order' is simply a notarized letter that BOTH Missy Burns and myself signed during "Arbitration" indicating we would in no way shape or form contact each other or each other's families. Again, the matter was resolved in ARBITRATION Not 'Court Ordered' as you both claim! Read the signed document you... as for Criminal Record, yeap, i sure do. four Misdemeanor 4's to be exact! Why? because my new property of 4acres had 0 fencing when i purchased it. and during the first 2mos my neighbors got rightfully upset about Dylan and Mikey getting away from me and bolting thru their yard on 3-4 occasions. My neighbors and i went to court over the matter and I pled guilty to four counts of "Failure to Confine" my dogs. Mikey and Dylan were 'repeat offenders' so the ACO was forced to charge me as "Repeat Offender" which required a court appearance. I was fined ~$400 ($75/dog-state minimum) + court costs. I paid $250 cash to the county but requested 'Community Service' for the remaining $245. It was then ordered, at a later date, that i could serve 32hours of community service in lieu of the monetary fine. The 'Community Service' was my personal request!! I'm here to try and serve as an asset to my community, not a liability. I have since hired a contractor and spent nearly $2,000 having 6' privacy fencing run over an acre of the property! And Mr 'World Class Trainer' and in my opinion the Shepherd Hitler from H**L. It was only after personally meeting you, watching your training methods, evaluating you and your 'organization', and your repeated stance "that all shepherds should be eracidated unless they were of working lines and in a working job" that I determined NOT to deal with the likes of You!! At least Rocky II was saved from your wrath! Yeap, that's right again, I bought Rocky II from Tim Helser for $100. Helser had Rocky for supposedly 3mos. Well, for a 'Master Trainer' he sure did a piss pour job of training Rocky II!!! The poor boy didnt even know the simpliest of all commands - SIT!! although I had to pay $100 to Helser for him to release the dog to me, Helser had 0 medical records to hand over as the dog had Never Been to the vets!!! That's right, no vaccines, no dewormer, no heartworm prevention, no flea meds - NOTHING!!! In Fact, poor Rocky II had brown water for bowels the day i brought him home and was covered in dozens of fleas!!! And yes, i have documents to support Everything written here. This is Not Defamation of Helser, just plain facts.

What was that name, "K9 Final Solutions"? (Sorry.. I could not resist!) Well, some dogs must be put down. Sometimes it just comes down to a "business decision". I am a believer in that. Out here in California, if you let yourself get overloaded with dogs or have sick dogs, anything at all, they will take your dogs and kill them for you and charge you with umpteen felonies! Better not have a shabby rescue, because that just gives them something to run with and you will end up on "Eyewitness News", alright! Sadly, I just don't think you can save them all. The smart thing is to save the ones you can, the ones that will bring somebody a good experience with the dogs. It's wrong to foist a bad, unsocialized, unstable or chronically sick dog onto some unsuspecting person. Some rescues do this, and I think it's pathetic. Not everyone has a lot of money and credit to make things look institutionally top-notch. But the dogs don't notice! I don't think that relatively poorer people should be denied the opportunity to be involved or to help on the level that they can manage. There was a time (before there was big money in the dog game?)that many dog people out here had rather poor homes, but then again, they put everything into the dogs, and did not care how they looked to others. You just cannot do that anymore, however. The news cameras will be rolling, and the talking heads will be ranting about the squalor and filth. I also had this experience, years ago, that someone complained about my place, saying that there were holes in the carpet, feces and hair packed into the carpet, etc. and it was all lies. I would not bother to bring it up otherwise (I do so only to make this point), because my experience is that people generally believe what they want to and there is nothing you can do to defend yourself against a liar. But seriously, Rhea.. If there is even a kernel of truth in this, you need to be very careful because there are people who will use any excuse to shut your rescue down, and quite true, that this does not help the dogs. But you cannot help them all, so help the ones you can.. just remember that! I've seen and heard of a few private rescues being shut down and the operators prosecuted. It happens pretty often in California. But California is unique, the "law and order liberal" state. I really want out, as soon as it is feasable for me.

No I am not turning this into a I am standing up for Tim thing. The "Rocky" dog mentioned, was NOT bought by Rhea. He was adopted by a woman, who was an an adopter from her "rescue" since she did not have a dog that matched what she wanted. Tim took Rock, (ie rocky NOT Rocky II, not sure where that came from...) down to her residence, for him to be neutered, and meet with the adopter who then got him. I was there at the exchange. Rock was in devine health, could sit, down and heel (although not so hot on the heel, but no biggie...). And Rhea only reimbursed Tim $80. Not 100. REIMBURED. NOT BOUGHT. He was not covered in fleas and ticks, as she states, or I would not have allowed my daughter to hug on him like in the photos I have of him... At her place. Tim didn't even get the money until WELL after Rocky was adopted. (um, keep in mind this dog was NOT ROCKY II..still not sure where that came from..) She did NOT pick Rocky up. We had met at her place to help her go to Trenton Animal shelter to learn to evaluate dogs. This is when Her personal dogs were evaluated.. Including Mikey. Mikey has an EXTENSIVE bite history. Like I said, regardless of someone "understanding his so called temperment..which is UNSTABLE, should not be adopted out. Video of his evaluation can be shown. This is all from a woman who wanted so bad to shadow Tim, all until Tim stated that he could no longer be a part of her rescue, because she adopted out fear biters, and working line GSDs as family "pets". Like I would want a dog that bites out of fear... would you? Nothing Tim is saying is "defaming, or slanderous." A house under construction, and a house with dog poo and pee everywhere is 2 different things. My husband can agree. As for K9 solutions issue. Sorry I believe him. I had on several occasions been "stood up" because of lost keys, or my cell phone died, or my alarm didnt go off, and it is a constant issue. I have emails from her CURRENT volunteers concerned about Rhea and how she runs her rescue, and how they are concerned. I have emails from other RESCUES about her as well. WHY would a TRAINER need to have someone else evaluate their dog? I am pretty sure that Jeff is competant enough to evaluate the dog himself, right folks? Look, I hope that Rhea and the rescue does what she is saying, and turns her rescue around. It would be for the better for everyone. But while dogs that have a fear bite history, and NOT stated on the petfinder post (people should know UP FRONT about that!!!) or people asking about her and how she runs her rescue... Things should continue to be questioned. I dont claim to have a perfect rescue, mainly because mine hasent started yet...But I plan on doing things correct, and within the law. Fencing was there back in April, when I met her. And it was privacy fencing. Not good fencing at all, old fencing and gaps and dogs that chewed holes in them. the kennels are in a garage in the backyard. But again didnt use them. And when she did use them the dogs tore out of them. But I hope that she is getting new ones. that would benefit her and the rescue. Several dogs have gotten out. Females as well. Oh well. What can anyone do? Entertainment at its best like Luvczechdawgz says, it gets funnier everyday. I just hope that All rescues start doing the right things, and do them well.. Thanks for reading the PD soap!!!

This isn't entertainment, there are dogs lives and a person’s reputation at stake. If any of you think that's entertainment, I feel sorry for you. If in the end, your beef is that she didn't state Mikey's bite history on the Petfinder listing, I really don't think that's really that huge. Some one sends an email saying they are interested in Mikey and they get one back saying, “here is his history”. Easy to criticize and say how easy it is to do rescue when you haven't even formed yours yet. The start of this post was Help Needed. Obviously Rhea is acknowledging she is spread too thin. And just for the record, there isn't dog pee and doo doo every where. And she uses the kennels now. I know if you have been there you know what the state of the kennels were when she bought the house. She had a lot of clean up work and construction to do before they were safe for the dogs. I would also like for Tim to email me his proof. Masonmom@gmail.com
