I am new to these forums...so HELLO to all of you...and thank you for taking the time to read my post!
I have several questions regarding TRUE working GSD lines...and I hope that you can help educate me on these dogs. I have an extensive back ground with working dogs...I know what I like in a dog...as well as what I DONT like...I am only pointing that out in an effort to save time.
I like a very forward dog with HUGE drive ( the kind most people do not like) and a serious civil edge, that is at a minimum socially nuetral/tolerant. Size is also an issue, as I am into Ring.
WHat bloodlines/dogs/kennels are producing this type of dog?
Thank you again for your time...I look forward to hearing for you!

While waiting for others to respond use the Search Forum box type in your topic it will bring up all the posts that have related words and you can read posts from others. :)

For ring you need huge prey drive. Good social skills. Lots of fighting drive in prey. Very low civil drive. A medium size athletic dog for the jumps and wall.
Check out the French lines. Some IPO lines are very suitable for Ring.

the problem is with the question. where to start in giving a reply? do some research & then come back
with specific questions about specific dogs or lines. hint: take a good look at dam lines when searching
for true working ability.

I guess my advice would be to go to ring trials and find out about the dogs you like to watch, or go with a kennel which works their dogs in your chosen discipline

Well since you know what you like, I will deduct that you have had/worked the dogs you like. So look at the papers and go to those kennels that have produced what you perosnally prefer in a dog.
