Maybe someone can help me with this topic, and let me know how close I am. I am just trying to get a better handle of this.  This is the way I have understood it to be. By no means do I claim to know much about this, but am trying to put it together in my mind as to how the different lines have come to be.  Please feel free to make changes and correct me where I have made an error. Again  I do not know that much about German history and just a little more about German Shepherd history.
Thanks

1960’s – Czech imports DDR shepherds from East Germany (DDR) to breed with their shepherds for
       border patrol work..

1980’s – East Germany & Czechoslovakia are no longer communist. Berlin wall comes down.
