Marjorie, What exactly is needed in S. Florida? I can't leave Shelby for more than three or  four hour periods. I don't feel as though I am qualified to evaluate a dog, nor am I able to foster right now. I can transport short distances, such as Broward to Palm Beach.

A ride from Broward to Palm Beach is always a help :) I can understand you not being able to leave Shelby. If I had to leave Missie T more than an hour, I was in full crisis behavior... You have your hands full now, and I know that Shelby has to be your first priority:)

I'm in Southern California and could help with evaluations, pulls and transport, unfortunatley I'm not set up right now to foster as I have no kennels and two young, pushy, cardigan corgis and an equally pushy GSD girl...I do know of inexpensive boarding facilities in the area.  I just saw the post about the stunning sable boy in Devore, I'm glad he made it out, Devore is NOT a good place for any dog to be.  My mother and I rescued dogs and cats from Devore when I was in my teens, I remember they made a mistake and put down a very pregnant, very sweet Lab we had a rescue hold on....the morning of the first day she was supposed to be available we were at the shelter to pull her, we were both in tears when we were informed she was put down...the shelter worker said it was a paperwork error...poor girl never even had a chance, I'll never forget her sweet brown eyes looking at us from her kennel run.  The GSD situation in Southern California shelters is very bad, I know our local rescues are very overwhelmed.  I can transport anywhere in Southern CA, up to mid CA, and anywhere along the way to Phoenix, AZ.  My email is vonschwartzgsd@yahoo.com

Thank you so much, Olga! This is desperately needed! We are trying to find a way to get the sable boy up to Shhelley in No CA. Maybe if you could go partway, we could find someone who could do the rest of the tip if Shelley couldnt.

I could go part way, where does Shelly live?  I'm free Sundays and Mondays to do so, although some Sundays I show...my next Sunday show won't be until 10/26.

I am in zip code 95953. I have a sofa for overnight stays and love to cook for company. ;-)
Did I mention I lived on 45 acres of the most beautiful dirt tracking you ever saw?

I am in the 94568 zip code in northern CA, I have a good friend who stays with me from time to time for work, she lives not far from ShelleyR's zip code.  She will be returning to that area this weekend and may be available if someone wants to bring her this far.  Email me if this might work out  sentinelharts@gmail.com
