My rant for the day.
I like to look around some of the sites that kennels in my state list GSD's for sale. I ran across one where the first line states "Shutzhund 3, KKL1" dogs for sale and they were somewhat priced as so. I get curious because of the location because I was unaware of any owners that close to me having a dog that titled. When I land on the site I see it's puppies from some lines that had some titles 2 and 3 generations ago but really nothing since the late 90's.
Of course I run their registration numbers on OFA.. No healthchecks found.
Does anyone think just because they have some dogs that at one time had some titled dogs in their pedigree be able to advertise their dogs and offspring as proven dogs? I don't. Seems like it could mislead people that do not understand. Especially considering the price.

I don't see anything wrong with it. By the way, I've got Horand von Grafrath for sale if you know anyone who might be interested.

Someone advertised a VA dog recently; if you took the ad at face value it was the dog himself for
sale. Of course, actually it was puppies BY him ...
