I can help out very special needs GSDs that may have, MegaE (megaesophagus), EPI, blind, deaf or three legged, any problem that has to be cared for the rest of the dogs lifetime.
The dogs need to be able to get along with other GSDs.
I am a vet tech at a vet hosp near where I live. I have been a vet tech for over 20 some years.
Very special needs GSDs are all that live with me, I also train and compete with them in agility, rally, obedience, tracking and herding.
I love my dogs very much and want to help other very special needs GSDs in need.
Thanks,
Furweed

Panzer D-50588
White German Shepherd: An adoptable dog in Mount Holly, NJ

Panzer is 5 years old and has special needs. Panzer is so thin because he has Endocrine Pancreatic Insuffciency. Plainly speaking, his pancreas is not producing the necessary enzymes. Without adequate production of these enzymes, he cannot break down/digest his food. If he cannot digest the food, he cannot absorb the food so it goes right through him. Panzer will require Viokase V powder for the rest of his life and possible B12 Vitamin injection once a week also.
Panzer is very calm and well behaved. All he needs is someone willing to take on this challenge and help this lovely guy. Are you that person?
Pet ID: D-50588 • Spayed/Neutered • House trained • Special Needs • Primary color: White or Cream • Coat length: Short
PETNOTE: ALL dogs will be SPAYED/NEUTERED before leaving the shelter. Please give this pet a second chance. Visit the shelter and fill out an adoption application today. When calling the shelter about this dog, please refer to the ABOVE ID# when calling. Thanks!

Maye they have volunteer transporters? I will not be able to place him, though, due to his specioal needs, so if you pull him he will have no place to go :( His treatment will be expensive as you know he will need meds for life.

I sent you a private message.
If someone can pull and transport to SC and he is good around other GSDs then I will take him.

I have had very good luck with the MegaE GSDs.
I have three that I train and compete with.
I have a couple of spaces for these very special needs GSDs.
I just thought I would update my openings for these GSDs.
