has anyone trained a working line GSD to find trussels? or know of anyone who has? i am especially interested in making contact with trainers in the US, but would appreciate hearing from trainers in other parts of the world. alex cornella johnsonburg, nj usa alessandro@rtonline.net

pardon my typo. yes, truffles are highly prized mushrooms that are unearthed by trained dogs (and pigs). alex

Yeah I thought they used pigs for that. I guess a dog could do it as well.

It is not important to use working GSD dog for that. In my country ordinary dogs finding tartufs. And pigs like that job, too.
