has anyone trained a working line GSD to find trussels? or know of anyone who has? i am especially interested in making contact with trainers in the US, but would appreciate hearing from trainers in other parts of the world.

pardon my typo. yes, truffles are highly prized mushrooms that are unearthed by trained dogs (and pigs).

Yeah I thought they used pigs for that. I guess a dog could do it as well.

It is not important to use working GSD dog for that. In my country ordinary dogs finding tartufs. And pigs like that job, too.
